Our Little Yogi

Dear Family,

I am so sad! Today was the last day of infant yoga. It was so wonderful to be able to get some exercise and enjoy the little guy at the same time. The class style was a baby-centered practice, incorporating babies into the poses and focusing on making the little ones happy. Noah loved when we did yoga situps and he got to sit high up on my tummy. He also like the "baby drop" lunges (did not actually drop him). Can't say he enjoyed the shivasina. That's the end of yoga where the lights dim and you relax. He is always on the go and thought I was forcing him to nap early! Needless to say he cried every time. Not too relaxing, lol.

He did have his share of relaxation though. My favorite yoga memory occured one day during the breathing warm-up where all the babies were actually silent for a moment. Erin, our lovely instructor, had us focus on relaxing different parts of our body. I guess this inspired noah to really "let go." The noise was deafening. All the mommies laughed :D

Since it was a 6 week series, Noah's been going to yoga half of his life! He is quite the yogi in the making.

Until next time, Namaste!
